Hi, I’m Shane Michaels.

I have a diverse background in graphic design, motion graphics and video production. I am able to capitalize on both my technical skills and innovation to provide adaptable solutions to a variety of projects. My education in design thinking has allowed me to design from a place of empathy, trusting that the most successful solutions come from understanding the users’ needs, desires, and current challenges.

 

I am passionate about design and the power that it holds in shaping every experience, as well as the potential that it has to better our world today. I value intuitive, yet impactful design that cultivates innovative and gratifying experiences. I’m able to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively, to develop effective solutions. 

 

I have also worked as a volunteer firefighter and EMT which balances out my creative side with a more tactical approach to problem solving. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles allowing me to be resourceful and focused in bringing high quality digital craftsmanship to create impactful solutions. When I’m not designing, you will find me in the mountains, running with my dog Kye or editing videos from my latest travels.
